We have to protect ourselves by having the right types of insurances. We have auto insurance so we are protected in case of an accident. We have health insurance in place for the times in life we are ill. We also need to have life insurance to take care of expenses for our families when we are no longer there to take care of things. It can be difficult to think about term life insurance but it is a true peace of mind when we have it. Knowing that our families will be taken care of financially is important. Without whole life insurance many families will be left scrambling for ways to hold onto the things they have worked for and acquired through many years. We have heard about people loosing things they have had for a long period of time because the money maker of the family dies without life insurance. It is a truly heartbreaking situation for any family. All of this can be avoided by taking a few minutes and putting a life insurance in place. Insurance is one of those things you hope you never need but if you do you want to be certain it is there for you. Once we put our policies in place I felt so much better for my families future. I want to always be there for them but in the event that I can not be I know they will be provided for. For me having life insurance is a way that I can continue providing for my family even though I am not there physically.

My boyfriend and I have the week off and we have been trying to pick where to go on vacation for weeks. We have spent hours researching different vacation spots and just couldn’t agree on where to go. I was totally set on New York City but he wanted to go to Las Vegas. So what happens when you just can’t agree on where to go? You end up having a stay-cation! There is so much information to be learned through visiting the many trade show events that come through our city. We have several a year and there is always a crowd. We also have arts and crafts shows that are set up twice a year for all of the local artists to show their talents. For many years we participated in these events. There are so many trade shows going on all of the time. Some are for business such as jobs fairs and others are more for fun such as products but they all have one thing in common and that is their displays. When my neighbor got his job at our local hospital he was so happy. He had just graduated from school and was nervous because there were so many graduating that he would not get the single position available. He will be standing in the driveway with a baby doll in one hand and a bandage from a “doctor” session of a 5 year old wrapped around this arm as I am now. His perfect sports car with meticulously cleaned carpets will be exchanged for a mini van with fries for carpet. This I can not wait for.

I just started couponing. I am sure some of you are thinking only old grandmothers coupon. To be honest, I used to think the exact same thing. I wondered who would take the time to save a few pennies. Well, I didn’t understand how the process worked. I started learning all the rules and all the different ways to get more money off purchases. It is amazing how much money is out there to be saved. After looking into all the different ways to save, my husband and I have been able to put double our normal amount into savings. I was just completely unaware of this whole new world. I have to be honest and say it takes a lot of work to save this much. I know you might think it should be as easy as cutting paper, but it’s not. Pulling up all of the bright summer clothing and folding and hanging all of the more warmer autumn colors is exciting.
